Carlingford's hilly terrain provides ample opportunity for integrating the natural landscape with the largely residential architecture of the area, in pursuit of developing a strong relationship between internal and external spaces. The visible organic form contrasts to the rectilinear lower ground floor with the intention of creating harmonious relationships between the new addition, environmental factors and heritage context.
